Cecil Barrow studied for three years at the Central School of Architecture in London. He was a member of the Watercolour Society of Ireland and a founder member and past president of The North Louth Painters. He was particularly noted for his oils and water colours. Cecil always worked on location and his artwork included his war time drawings, his Palestine sketchbook, as well as his oils and watercolours of local scenes and much more.
