Sonya Reynolds took her degree in Fine Art at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin. Of this work, she says:  “I wanted to paint on silk in a contemporary way. This work captures the facial expression of intensity and deep thought. The colours reflect the mood with the face in among a burst of colours and flames”. She currently lives in London and uses the cityscapes of London as her inspiration.
