Thomas Roe

Thomas Roe was a well-known businessman in Dundalk in the late 1800’s. He joined the founder of the Dundalk Democrat, Thomas Cartan as partner in 1872 and ran the paper after Cartan’s retirement. He was active on a number of local boards and took a keen interest in politics and social affairs. He died in 1902.
