It was inspired by the epic An Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle Raid of Cooley), and inparticular, Ciarán Carson’s recent translationThe Táin (2007). Most of this legendary tale took place within a stone’s throw of Gort na Glaise. Dónal O’Connor (born 29 September 1978) is an Irish multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and television presenter from Ravensdale, County Louth, Ireland.
