FEST – Music Walk With Me is back for a second edition, and you only have one week to apply to act on this great event!
FEST – Music Walk With Me was conceived to showcase music acts from artists eager to collaborate with the film and TV industry or strengthen their existing connections.
It will take place during the 20th edition of FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival, between the 24th of June and the 1st of July, in Espinho, Portugal.
This unique event, offers a golden opportunity for artists to intertwine music and film in innovative ways.

Who can apply?
The applications are to artists from all over the world, signed or unsigned artists. We accept all music genres.
What do you need to apply?
You will need to provide the following information to apply: Basic information; Project description; Technical raider; Motivation to perform at MWWM and connect your music to the film and TV scene; Link for music and performances.
Our call for music showcases for this 2nd edition of FEST – Music Walk With Me will close on the 15thApril 2024!
Applications for showcases will only be considered if submitted through the designated option: utilizing our provided form. Please ensure all requisite information is completed accurately within the form, and all materials submitted are in English.
Make sure you go through all the rules and regulations before sending in your showcase.
Important Information
– The performances will take place between the 24th of June and the 1st of July, in Espinho, Portugal
– Each showcase will receive a contribution of 250 euros.
– Each artist will receive a PRO badge, which will grant access to the two parallel festivals, conferences, and networking activities.
– Each artist will have access to the “Networking Dinners” on the day of their performance.
– MWWM does not provide the backline for the artists or cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Selected artists will receive one full FEST 2023 accreditation.

ABOUT FEST – MUSIC WALK WITH ME
FEST – Music Walk With Me is a showcase music festival planned for artists that pretend to begin a collaboration with the Film and TV scene or want to reinforce the one that already exists.
The collaboration between music and film is crucial for developing new ideas and creative opportunities, even though musicians’ access to the world of cinema remains an obstacle limited by several factors. Many musicians still face distribution and promotion difficulties, and many struggle to find opportunities to collaborate with filmmakers.
Music and film industries are often conceived as separate, leading to a lack of understanding of each other’s needs, challenges, and objectives. There are proven potentialities when music and film advance together, overcoming obstacles through the creation of platforms, programs, and innovative solutions.
