Thomas Rogers was from Ravensdale. He took photography up as a hobby in the early 1980s and became a member of the Dundalk Camera Club. He was the official photographer for the Dundalk Maytime Festival for a number of years. Thomas travelled all over Europe taking photographs and was particularly interested in the effects of light on the landscape. His native Louth, The West of Ireland and Donegal were among his favourite places to photograph. He died in April 2008.
