Marie -Thérèse Serafini is a French artist living and working in Rezé, France. She was commissioned to paint this work to present to Dundalk Town Council on the occasion of the twinning of Dundalk and Rezé in 1990. The work is entitled Symbole and acts as a symbol of the connection between the two towns.
