Friends of Collon Church are delighted to announce a concert in the Church of Ireland Collon on Saturday 20th December at 8.00pm, just a few days before Christmas.
The choir will be Rosemount Singers, based at Julianstown, Co Meath directed by Shane Barriscale, Tenor and Assistant Director of The Palestrina Choir, Dublin.
Shane and the choir will be joined by Derek Verso who will play the historic Telford organ, and by Dr Didzis Kalnins on piano and Rachel Du on violin. The programme is designed by Dorothy Alioth of Kendu Music who also organises the choir.
There will be lovely Christmas music from an international repertoire, with well-known carols in which the audience will be welcome to join.
It will be a wonderful and festive occasion in the closing days before Christmas and an opportunity to enjoy the stunning interior of this recently restored building.
