We’re excited to invite you to the The Creative Brew – a relaxed meet & greet where you can share your practice, connect with others, and discuss possibilities. Whether you’re a theatre maker, costume designer, musician, dancer, or any kind of artist from any discipline (or multiple disciplines), everyone is welcome. Looking ahead, we envision this to be an ongoing space where we can support each other’s work, spark meaningful conversations, potentially discuss issues, and even collaborate on projects.Hosted by Subhashini Goda. Suba is a multidisciplinary dance artist, interested in collaborative explorations with diverse artists and looking to build an inclusive artistic community.
Our April meet up takes place on Thursday 23rd of April and will be facilitated by our host Subhashini Goda. In this workshop Subha will be introducing artists to gentle movement and opening up to gestures and rhythm techniques based on bharatanatyam principles, but adapted to a multidisciplinary group that can use these in their work as well. We’ll be playing with textures, cloth, and space. While this is a workshop that is suitable for all, it can be particularly useful for theatre makers, film makers, dance and movement artists, and musicians.
