Drogheda Arts Festival invite all the Family to BIG DAY OUT at Scotch Hall, an exciting afternoon of free entertainment. Showcasing local and national Artists this is a day to celebrate creativity and highlight the wealth of talent we have in our Town. Drogheda Brass Band will be opening the day’s proceedings at the Plaza along the Boyne .There will also be music by the fantastic Blue Belles, Ireland’s post-modern vintage style trio and up and coming jazz electro duo bbft.
Our younger attendees will be treated to a side splitting performance by Jitterbug Jackson, who has a knack for getting the crowd going. International acrobats Entre Nos will be putting on a show that has delighted audiences all over Europe.
Locals Artists Creative circle and Gatothor Cerámica will have demonstrations of what’s on offer for budding artists, in ceramics and taster art classes. We have “Meet your Orchestra “our newest musical community group. Love Drogheda provide some Street entertainment with stilt walker and balloon modeling. The Cottage Market will be hosting a Arts Festival edition with crafts and much, much more..
