Drogheda Classical Music returns with another wonderful season of concerts for 2023/2024, all set in the beautiful surrounds of St. Peter’s Church of Ireland. Featuring some world class performers and compositions to astound and delight.
Sun 24 Sept 2023 Lise de la Salle (piano) and Hermes Quartet
Lise de la Salle has established herself as one of today’s exciting young artists and as a musician of real sensibility and maturity. Joining forces with the multi award-winning Hermes quartet this programme is full of romance and beauty.
Thurs 12 Oct 2023 Michael McHale (piano)
Pianist Michael McHale makes a welcome return to Drogheda for a special solo recital to mark his 40th birthday. The programme combines beloved works by some of the Romantic era’s greatest pianist-composers.

The international-prizewinning Kahlo Piano Quartet make their Drogheda debut with a stunning programme of music. Full of passion and beautiful melodies, they represent the best of French and German romanticism.

Three leading Irish musicians with busy international careers come together for this concert of duos and trios including Schumann’s collection of fantasies which are full of humour, emotional intensity and not least, pianistic elegance.

Finnish-Dutch cellist and rising star, Jonathan Roozeman is already establishing himself as a player of exceptional musical integrity. His duo partner, Varvara Nepomnyashchaya has quickly established a remarkable musical reputation by performing with many of world’s most prestigious orchestras.

Tim Horton is one of the UK’s leading pianists, equally at home in solo and chamber repertoire. He is a founder member of both the Leonore Piano Trio and Ensemble 360 and has been a regular guest pianist with the Nash Ensemble.
Sat 2 March 2024 Irish Baroque Orchestra
The St Matthew Passion was composed in 1727 during Bach’s extraordinary Leipzig period, and has endured as a masterpiece of the Baroque repertoire. This powerful and moving work will be brought to life in the beautiful surrounds of St Peter’s Church of Ireland.
Fri 19 April 2024 Vanbrugh and Friends
Closing the 2023/24 series of concerts, the Vanbrugh Quartet are joined by Marja Gaynor and Ed Creedon in a glorious programme of rich and sonorous chamber works by Beethoven and Brahms. This celebrated collection of musicians has always been a hit with Drogheda audiences.
