An acting workshop based around physical theatre principles that can be organically utilised across many artistic, creative and practical disciplines.
On the day people will learn to work, play and create in an ensemble, to accept the myriad differences and approaches to creative work, to explore the tools to approach the work openly, professionally, with respect and integrity for themselves and their fellow creators. No previous acting experience required.
We invite participants from a richly diverse range of cultures who bring their individually distinct viewpoint of the world and their desire to express their creativity to the table.
MAKERS MAKING MORE is an initiative devised to support artists makers making more through practical resources; Q&A’s, workshops and collaborative community events. Devised and coordinated by Actor/ Singer Juliette Crosbie and Droichead Arts Centre Artistic Director Collette Farrell.
The MMM initiative itself places an established artist (and their eyes and ears) at the core of producing events, workshops, Q&A’s for the community from which they come, with the intent of identifying artist’s unique needs and struggles, and devising creative solutions to enhance resources and empower artists.
