SUNDAYS IN SPRING — A Special Concert Series at Carlingford Heritage Centre
Carlingford Heritage Centre is delighted to announce Sundays in Spring, a series of Sunday afternoon concerts featuring celebrated Irish duo Zoë Conway and John McIntyre, joined each week by a very special guest artist.
Taking place on three consecutive Sundays from 4–5pm, the series promises an exceptional programme of live music in the heart of Carlingford.
Sunday 10th May — Zoë Conway & John McIntyre with Mick O’Brien TG4 Gradam Ceoil Musician of the Year, Dublin-born uilleann piper and tin whistle player Mick O’Brien has travelled extensively as a soloist and has recorded with The Dubliners, Altan, and Charlie Lennon.
Sunday 17th May — Zoë Conway & John McIntyre with Cup O’Joe A progressive bluegrass and folk band from Northern Ireland, Cup O’Joe are siblings Tabitha, Benjamin and Reuben Agnew, known for blending original compositions with beautifully reimagined traditional songs.
Zoë Conway and John McIntyre are beloved residents of the Carlingford area and have built a devoted following both locally and internationally, celebrated for their virtuosic musicianship and their seamless blend of Irish traditional and contemporary styles.
All concerts take place at Carlingford Heritage Centre, Sundays 4–5pm. Pre-booking is essential.
