The Irish Writers Centre invites applications for the Evolution Programme 2024–2025. This six-month programme supports ten published writers (with one or two books) to advance their careers. The programme includes access to courses, one-to-one mentoring, Irish Writers Centre membership, monthly peer forums, and a paid teaching residency at the University of Galway for selected participants.

Applicants must be over 18, resident in Ireland, and have published at least one book. Applications are particularly encouraged from underrepresented groups in Irish literature.

Apply by 17 July 2024 at midnight. Include a letter of intent, CV, and two writing samples. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in September, with the programme running from October 2024 to March 2025.
