Louth Public Art Programme​

2025 - 2026

Louth County Council is seeking to engage with artists to create and deliver three community based artist residencies across the County.

All commissions should be socially engaged public art projects, which have their primary focus on working with communities in County Louth. 

Funding for the commissions is provided by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Local Heritage.

Applicants must be resident or based in Ireland/EU/UK. Participating artists in a collective would need to meet the same requirements.

Deadlines for all sculpture applications stage 1 EOI is February 5th 2026 @ 12p.m.

Deadline for all Artist in the Community Stage 1 proposals is March 5th 2026 @ 12p.m.

Qualifications and documentation as outlined/specified in the tender are required from all participants and will be assessed on that basis. Ireland’s public procurement framework is governed, in the first instance by EU procurement rules. External interaction with tenderers or providers from other Member States or from recognised third countries, including the UK, continue to be subject to compliance with EU rules and regulations.
