Poetry Ireland/Éigse Éireann and the Irish Heritage Trust are pleased to announce an open call for professional visual artists for the creation of a new public artwork at No. 11 Parnell Square, Dublin 1, the soon-to-be home of both organisations.
We would be grateful if you could share this opportunity through your networks.
About the Commission
This public artwork, to be commissioned under the Per Cent for Art Scheme, will mark the next chapter in the life of this historic Georgian building, which is currently undergoing careful conservation by McCullough Mulvin Architects.

We are inviting proposals for a materially based 2D or 3D artwork in any durable medium. The commissioned work will be located in the building’s main entrance hall and grand stairway, offering a visually engaging encounter for all who pass through. Invitations are open to all professional visual artists for a two-stage process with stage one now open for application.
The artwork is funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage under the project 2040 URDF scheme through the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
