Connections Arts Centre is excited to announce the open call for the Connecting Artists Programme 2025! This national free initiative is designed to support adult visual artists who are ready to take the next step in developing their creative practice, exhibiting, and selling their work.

What is the Connecting Artists Programme?
The Connecting Artists Programme helps adult artists who face challenges accessing art education and support. The programme is open to artists who identify as neurodivergent or those living with an intellectual disability. The programme is open to artists from all 32 counties of Ireland, including both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Each year, 10 artists are selected to join a 10-week online programme. Aimed at supporting their artistic journey and preparing them for a national exhibition in the RCSI.
What You Need to Know:
- Mediums: This year we’re accepting 2D artworks (painting, drawing, collage). Photography is not currently included.
- 10 artists will be selected for the programme.
- Start Date: The programme begins in March 2025.
- Deadline to Apply: Friday, 31st January 2025.
