What to expect:
This hands-on practical workshop will entail breaking down scripts, developing a character, blocking for TV and Film, scene work and delivering authentic performances. As well as working on scenes, there will be career driven advice on how to break down the barriers to get yourself seen.
Baz Black is an Actor/Writer/Director and founder of Sure Look Productions. As an Actor, Baz has been on Network Shows such as Into the Badlands, KIN (season 1 & 2) and BRASSIC. He has written & directed 7 Award Winning Short films such as Merrow and Reflection. His debut Feature Film Dublin Crust recently spent 6 weeks in Irish Cinemas and went to Number 1 on Amazon Prime. As an Actor/Director, Baz can relate to the struggles an actor can face and approaches his mentoring style based on the fundamentals needed to maintain a career in the industry. As a Director, he loves authenticity and feels this can be clouded with conflicting information. This workshop will be focused on delivering an authentic performance. Baz has a keen eye for casting and loves to work with driven actors.
