Liam Reilly Memorial Seat

Celebrating the life and legacy of the late Liam Reilly, renowned singer-songwriter and cherished member of Bagatelle.

Born and raised in Dundalk, this tribute recognises Liam’s immense contribution to Irish music and his special connection to home, where his songs continue to resonate with people of all ages. 

Bagatelle formed in 1978 and are known for their popular hits “Second Violin”, “Leeson Street Lady” and of course their best known work “Summer in Dublin”. 

In 2022 TG4 recorded a special documentary celebrating Liam and his work with Bagatelle.
The documentary featured performances from Liam O’Maonlaí, Brian Kennedy and Tommy Fleming.

Commemorative seat:
The commemorative seat was designed by Louth artist Micheál McKeown, a friend of Liams.
